Het Raadhuys is situated in Kessel: a wonderfully historic village that grew up around a castle in the centre of the province of Limburg, on the banks of the river Meuse. Kasteel De Keverberg and a number of good restaurants are within walking distance of Het Raadhuys. There are also several friendly bars and cafés, where you can sit outside if the sun is shining.

Towns and cities such as Venlo, Roermond, Maastricht, Hasselt and Dusseldorf are well within reach as are the National Parks of De Groote Peel and De Meinweg as also Designer Outlet Roermond and several golf courses.
